Wrestling

Last night I had my first experience with a wrestling match. I used to watch WWF (I just can't call it WWE) in high school but this was a whole different animal. These kids were intense! They start standing up looking at each other and then they start this dance around the mat until one of them attacks. Then they put each other in these crazy holds. I thought a couple of the kids were going pass out because their faces were turning purple. J did pretty well. His first match he won 9-3, the second he won by pinning the guy, and the third one he was pinned. Here is a pic, I can't believe how tall J is getting. He was a good foot taller than his opponent.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Well here it is, my first ever blog. I've been officially sucked in. I'll try to keep it as updated as possible. I guess I'll start with talking about this weekend. It started with Thanksgiving which was wonderful (I'm trying to get some pictures sent to me) there was a ton of food and laughs to be shared by all. The next day was "Black Friday" my mom and I got up at 4:30am! It was totally insane but it's also a tradition so what do you do? We had to go and we got tons of great deals. I saw Australia that night, it was great! I definitely encourage all to give it a try, there are of course some cheesy parts, also some unbelievable ones because of the "aboriginal magic" but other than those very few parts I really enjoyed myself. The rest of the weekend was spent wrapping presents and being lazy. I did get a chance to go on a bike ride so maybe I burned a few of those turkey calories. TNT!
